“I really enjoy working with the PSE team and feel that they are well-organized, caring, and professional. They offer good and timely communication and are pleasant to work with.” - Horizon Christian High School
PSE adheres to the highest quality standards in the F-1 exchange industry. Since 2014, PSE has been a fully listed member of The Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET), a non-profit organization committed to quality international educational travel. The FULL listing is achieved by extensive audit of its management and proof that top standards are adhered to for the safety and well-being of students.
Promoting Your School
Partnering with Private & Public School F-1 Exchange means that we will advertise your high school to our overseas partners, facilitate the application process, find a host family once a student has been accepted, and continue to check in throughout the year with the student, host family, and your school to make sure the student is integrating well into home and school life. PSE students must obtain an F-1 visa in order to attend school in the U.S., and therefore we are only able to partner with SEVIS approved schools.
The PSE program differs from public high school programs in that our students often return for multiple years to continue their education and graduate with a U.S. high school diploma. Our students seek academically challenging, yet affordable schools in the U.S. and select schools from within our network to which they would like to apply. We work with both the partner agency and schools to ensure students and schools are well matched.

The Benefits of Working With PSE
There are many benefits to having international students at your school. Exchange students can enrich classroom discussions and offer an international perspective that can help current event lessons take on a new significance or history lessons another meaning. International students share a desire to learn about American culture, American people and the English language. Inviting international students into your school offers your students an opportunity to share their culture as well, and fosters cross-cultural relationships and understanding.
PSE works to ensure that students are given every opportunity for academic success. This starts by screening for English proficiency in order to ensure an effective placement, and continues by following up with the student during the school year to make sure they are able to meet the demands of their classes. If we find that a student is struggling, we assist in identifying a tutor and other means of academic support.
Support
Each PSE student is assigned a trained Local Coordinator that acts as a liaison between the school, host family and exchange student. PSE Local Coordinators are the first point of contact for support questions and guidance, and check in regularly with students, host families and schools to offer assistance and evaluate the experience. In addition, Local Coordinators recruit, screen and provide orientations to host families.
